Roles & Responsibilities

The Lead Applications Engineer will be responsible for providing technical leadership to a team of application engineers to receive transferred power system protection, control and automation technology and establish an ongoing development capability to produce sophisticated protection, control and automation equipment to manage the electric power grid.

Main Responsibilities

·Become expert on the applications of the transferred product technology.

·快速學(xué)習(xí)并掌握在技術(shù)轉(zhuǎn)移中引進(jìn)的產(chǎn)品與技術(shù);

·Develop detailed functional specifications describing algorithms and **** plans.

·制定詳細(xì)的功能規(guī)范書描述算法和測(cè)試計(jì)劃;

·Perform system studies and simulations using appropriate tools to validate protection algorithms.

·能夠使用系統(tǒng)仿真工具執(zhí)行系統(tǒng)研究和仿真用于驗(yàn)證保護(hù)算法;

·Analyze user requirements to recommend appropriate solutions.

·分析用戶需求并給出合適的解決方案;

·Work with Customer Support personnel to resolve product, process, and customer issues.

·同客戶支持人員配合解決產(chǎn)品和客戶問題;

·Provide technical consultation to cross-functional teams to improve or resolve manufacturing, products,applications or field issues;

·為其他職能團(tuán)隊(duì)提供技術(shù)咨詢以改進(jìn)或解決制造、產(chǎn)品、應(yīng)用或現(xiàn)場(chǎng)等環(huán)節(jié)的問題.

·Author technical papers and present materials at tradeshows and conferences.

·為展會(huì)和研討會(huì)提供技術(shù)論文和演講材料;

·Assist in preparing user manuals and training material and deliver training courses.

·協(xié)助準(zhǔn)備用戶手冊(cè)和培訓(xùn)資料并發(fā)布培訓(xùn)課程;



Qualifications Required:

·More than 5 years development experience in protection and automation products;

·超過5年保護(hù)和自動(dòng)化產(chǎn)品的開發(fā)經(jīng)驗(yàn);

·More than 2 years of technical leadership experience.

·超過2年的技術(shù)團(tuán)隊(duì)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)經(jīng)驗(yàn);

·Knowledge of modern protection, control and distribution automation practices and trends.Utility experience using GE protection and automation products preferred.

·熟悉最新保護(hù)、控制和配網(wǎng)自動(dòng)化產(chǎn)品的使用和動(dòng)態(tài)，具有GE保護(hù)和自動(dòng)化產(chǎn)品在電力系統(tǒng)的應(yīng)用經(jīng)驗(yàn)者優(yōu)先;

·Working knowledge of simulation tools such as RTDS, PSCAD or ATP/EMTP and MATLAB.

·能熟練使用仿真工具，如RTDS、PSCAD或ATP/EMTP和MATLAB

·Experience developing applications for the power system protection, control and automation market.

·具有電力系統(tǒng)保護(hù)、控制和自動(dòng)化市場(chǎng)的開拓應(yīng)用經(jīng)驗(yàn)

·Degree in Electrical Engineering. MSc or PhD is preferred.

·電氣工程大學(xué)本科以上，碩士或博士?jī)?yōu)先;

·Excellent English language fluency, oral and written. Comfortable with technical discussions in English.

·優(yōu)秀的英語讀寫能力，能使用流暢的英語進(jìn)行技術(shù)交流.
