Group Ormazabal was founded in 1967 in Spain. It is specialized in developing, manufacturing, and marketing primary and secondary distribution switchgear, transformers, transformer substations, as well as protection and automation equipment. Since its establishment, it has become one of the world leaders in electrical distribution switchgear. Over the past decades it has grown into an international organization with subsidiaries in numerous countries. 

There are three sole foreign-funded enterprises under Group Ormazabal in China, Ormazabal Zhuhai Switchgear Ltd, Ormazabal NRG (Beijing) Switchgear Ltd and Ormazabal Kunshan Co., Ltd.

Ormazabal Zhuhai Switchgear Ltd, formerly known as F&G China Electric Limited was established as the first German wholly owned enterprise in China in 1991. The Zhuhai based company specializes in manufacturing and marketing fully capsulated SF6 insulated medium voltage switchgears of superior quality, our businesses include electricity, wind power, rail transit, petroleum, petrifaction and other industries.

Ormazabal NRG (Beijing) Switchgear Ltd (Ormazabal NRG) is formerly known as Beijing NRG Electric Equipment Co., Ltd., which was a joint-venture of Beijing Power Supply Company and F&G Energietechnik AG. Ormazabal NRG is now a WOFE of Ormazabal Group.

Ormazabal Kunshan Co., Ltd. was founded in June 2010, Committed to the production of SF6 gas tank.

Adopting Ormazabal’s advanced techniques used in Europe, Ormazabal NRG manufactures SF6-insulated medium-voltage switchgear, compact substations and cable distribution boxes for power supply networks, industrial plants, consumer’s installations, wind turbine generators, etc.

歐瑪嘉寶安瑞吉（北京）電氣設(shè)備有限公司前身為北京安瑞吉電氣設(shè)備有限公司，北京安瑞吉電氣設(shè)備有限公司原為北京供電公司與費(fèi)爾騰-吉堯姆（中國(guó)）電氣有限公司在北京建立的合資企業(yè)，現(xiàn)為歐瑪嘉寶集團(tuán)在華全資子公司。
歐瑪嘉寶安瑞吉（北京）電氣設(shè)備有限公司利用歐瑪嘉寶公司在歐洲的先進(jìn)技術(shù)組裝生產(chǎn)六氟化硫絕緣GAE、GA系列10 kV環(huán)網(wǎng)開(kāi)關(guān)柜，并開(kāi)發(fā)生產(chǎn)適合中國(guó)電網(wǎng)需求的10/0.4 kV箱式變電站和10 kV戶外電纜分接箱。
歐瑪嘉寶（昆山）開(kāi)關(guān)設(shè)備有限公司于2010年6月成立，致力于六氟化硫氣箱的生產(chǎn)。

憑借精確與完善的歐洲工藝與工程設(shè)計(jì)， 公司在中國(guó)電力用戶中贏得了較高的聲譽(yù)， 產(chǎn)品被使用在眾多的重點(diǎn)工程項(xiàng)目中，如天安門廣場(chǎng)、上海東方明珠電視塔、北京奧林匹克體育場(chǎng)（鳥(niǎo)巢）、國(guó)家游泳中心（水立方）、廣州大學(xué)城、大唐風(fēng)電、華潤(rùn)風(fēng)電等。
